NewScene uses the latest technology along with traditional professional methods to accomplish excellent results. We don't own a bottle of spray cleaner because it is not the best method for professional results. Don't get us wrong, simple cleaning products can work adequately for spot cleaning on an already clean window. However, for a full clean, it is almost impossible to get good results with a rag and spray bottle. We assess each situation and use the most effective technique available.
Traditional Methods: We use applicators (scrubbers) and squeegees for much of our cleaning. These methods have been used for several decades by professionals. Water is the main component used with a little mild cleaner, which means no harsh chemicals or smells. For really tough cleaning, including construction cleanup (CCU), we employ appropriate abrasive techniques to remove construction debris or artillery fungus spores and other stuck on debris. This is why we always say that the techniques used are more important than the chemical. Only in window restoration are agressive chemicals employed. We also provide wet cleaning for window screens.
New Technology: For a number of years, new technology that is more environmentally friendly and safer for cleaning high windows has been used by professionals. It is referred to as pure water cleaning or waterfed pole cleaning. We have a mounted filtration system we use for our waterfed poles. As with any method, we selectively employ these methods for the appropriate situations. It works very well as it involves an agressive scrubbing brush that can work better than the typical microfiber applicators. In addition, the rinsing process greatly reduces the possibility of streaking and will dry spot free.
